The Ashinaga Foundation has worked for over half a century to provide for students in Japan who have lost one or both parents. The foundation provides financial support and guidance for students to continue their studies and access to quality education as well as emotional support and advocacy. In 2012, the Ashinaga Foundation began hosting PiA Fellows who have tutored students to improve their English language skills, supported summer programs like the Tsudoi summer camp, and provided administrative support for the Foundation.
